DC United Will Play Friendly With Olimpia Of Honduras

DC United has announced that the first team will play with Club Deportivo Olimpia, the highest category of Honduras in an exhibition match on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the field of Audi. The game starts at 7:15 PM ET.

The Honduran Ambassador to Washington, DC, Marlon Tábora and Jason Levien, Managing Partner and CEO, were present at the friendly announcement: “We are incredibly excited to unite the talents of our club with one of the best in Honduras. . Olympia is a historical team from a special country and we are honored to receive them. 

Also present was the legend of the club of DC United and Olympia, the prolific Brazilian striker Luciano ‘Luci’ ‘Lucigol’ Emilio, who will be a guest of honor on the night of the game.

Emilio, who scored 41 times in 89 appearances for DC United and won three titles with Olimpia in Honduras, commented: “I have so much enthusiasm for DC United and Olimpia. I love the fans of both clubs very much.
